Where can a producer hedge cattle?
 
Cattle can be hedged on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME). There are two contract: one for live cattle (slaughtered), and one for feeder cattle (650 -849 pound steers).The CME offers a competitive and transparent market place to engage in efficient hedging strategies.
